How industries and organisations can support students and teachers through digital technology

In our recent webinar, we explored how 2020 has impacted teachers and students across the world in terms of the swift leap to remote learning and use of digital technology to continue daily lessons and educational experiences. We recognised the differences in teachers and student experiences and highlighted the barriers to digital access that were exacerbated by home learning and isolation from peers and facilitators, with insider knowledge from our expert panel of teachers and parents!

Our expert teachers, Fergus Brown, Education Manager at Kimberlin Education and ex-High School teacher, and Sean de Morton, Education Specialist and Teacher at Cricket Australia, spoke about their own experiences of using technology in the classroom and the trends they have seen during home learning as well as provided tips to our audience of organisations, industries and companies for how best to support classroom learning through digital technology.

Georgia Goode, Community Engagement Officer at Meat and Livestock Australia and long term Kimberlin Education client, extolled the benefits of using digital technology and a Kimberlin program to promote key messages within classrooms and educate Australia’s students, and described the incredible reach of the program both pre- and during remote learning this year.

Terri Martin, General Manager at Kimberlin, described how her own teenagers had coped with remote education this year before breaking down Kimberlin’s approach to using digital tech within Australia’s classrooms and the key considerations every project must take into account.
